    Description
    The "S" series is the alternative to the slip-on flange of the "P" series. The gel injected into the pockets makes it easy to meet increased tightness requirements and the multi-chamber construction of our S 40 air duct profile ensures very good stability and easy installation. Our "S" flanges 20, 30 and 40 all have the same sliding strip nose. So you only need one type of sliding strip or duct clip, regardless of the profile sizes used. Made of galvanised steel, the flange has a length of 5,000 mm and is supplied in bundles of 500 m each.

    Frequently asked questions

    Is the injected gel sealant suitable for powder coating?
    No, unlike our butyl sealant which is injected in our Premium and P flanges, the gel sealant injected in our S flanges is not suitable for powder coating.
    For which air tightness class according to EN 1507:2006 / EN 16798:3 is the profile suitable?
    Our S flange with injected gel sealing compound is suitable for tightness class C according to DIN EN 1507:2006 (TÜV-Nord certified) or ATC 3 according to DIN EN 16798:3.
    Is the flange applicable in accordance with ISO 846?
    Yes, the sealant fulfils the requirements according to ISO 846 - A, C. The sealing compound is classified as very well disinfectable and fulfils the hygienic requirements for use in RLT systems according to VDI 6022, Sheet 1, Section 3.5.
