flex.x-PES/PVC 155 - B1
Art. Nr.:
309750030
Ensures a permanently airtight yet flexible connection thanks to integrated sealing lipsMeets the highest fire protection and hygiene standards for safe use in ventilation systemsOffers outstanding durability with high expansion capacity and a wide temperature range
Description
The Gebhardt flex.x‑Fabric B1 is a high-quality elastic connection solution with sealing lips welded on both sides, designed for use in ventilation and HVAC systems. It is suitable for the construction of rectangular compensators as well as round connection sleeves and reliably absorbs movements, vibrations and dimensional tolerances within the system.
Manufactured from a robust polyester fabric with PVC coating and an integrated sealing lip, the flex.x‑Fabric B1 provides a permanently tight and flexible connection. The central section is light grey, while the sealing lips are black. The extended length is approximately 155 mm with a weight of around 0.21 kg per metre. The material can be used in a temperature range from –50 °C to +70 °C. It is also UV‑resistant, although slight colour changes may occur when exposed to intense sunlight or high temperatures.
The flex.x‑Fabric B1 is flame-retardant in accordance with DIN 4102, building material class B1, and is approved for installation on suitable fire dampers. When installed, it allows for an expansion absorption of at least 100 mm and thus meets the technical requirements for elastic connections in fire protection applications.
With regard to hygiene and material resistance, the product meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 846 (A, C) for microbial resistance. It is very easy to disinfect and complies with the hygiene requirements for use in HVAC systems in accordance with VDI 6022, Sheet 1. The fabric is virtually odourless and specifically designed for long-term use in sensitive air-handling applications.
The flex.x‑Fabric B1 is supplied as continuous roll material and is free from silicone, cadmium, lead, chlorinated paraffins and phthalates in accordance with Directive 84/2005/EC. The proportion of SVHC substances in the formulation components is below 0.1%. The PVC used contains polymer-bound chlorine but no halogenated flame retardants. The product is also RoHS-compliant.
